For sale here is a very scarce and rare Opal version of Ari t' Hart's Rainbow fly reel model.
Ari T Hart's Rainbow reels are in general very rare. These reels were only produced from 1993 to 1995 and were already very expensive when they were launched. It was part of the so called “Design Collection” of ATH Design Holland.
The ATH Rainbow reel has the weight-forward design, but it is for 8- to 10-weight nines and for fishing for steelhead, salmon and light saltwater species. The main housing and spool were made from solid aluminium stock, not vented. The spool is counterbalanced. The smooth and powerful drag incorporates eight different ranges.
