The ATH Remco reel feature the weight-forward design like the ARAS, but it's smaller, designed for 3/4 weight lines. The outer fram hangs on two stainless steel shafts that are attached to the reel body, forming an outer frame with no cross shafts. The frame is open at the top, allowing rim control.
And yes, the Remco is the one and only fly reel of the famous collecting of the MoMA, Museum of Modern Art in New York.
