A very rare S1 reel made by Ari T Hart in small numbers for JC Field & Stream.

UPDATE:
The reel is now changed from Right hand to LEFT hand retrieve!
This was done by a very experienced specialist who also serviced the reel. I think this will please every fellow collector.

Ari T Hart built that as a special edition for J. C. Field & Stream.
JC Field & Stream was a shooting & fishing shop on the Fulham Road, in London. It only lasted a few years; they closed down in the early '90's.
The brake weel is equipped with a nice grooved rubber similar to a gearwheel (replaced later by a wheel made of aluminium).
Rubber lip in the spool front (indicates the very early production years).
Notice: I will sell both JC Field & Stream reels only as a set - these both reels should stay togehter with a fellow collector.
