Never let a buying opportunity slip by. In case of doubt, this may never come back again.

In retrospect and especially at the beginning of my passion for collecting, I was often annoyed afterwards with myself. Of course, there are other reasons why the timing was inconvenient.

But you learn from it... When I first came across the ARAS Turbo, I thought the sales price was a bit high. But the design appealed to me immediately (still my favorite reel) and so I bought it without thinking too long. I never saw a second ARAS Turbo again. Today the selling price from back then is just peanuts.

Meanwhile the opportunities to expand a collection are becoming more and more rare..
