The following answers to all important FAQs should give you all the information you need for trustworthy and reliable transaction in advance. These policies should be fully understood by you beforehand, because I will not deviate from them. And that's a clear benefit for all!

Who is the seller?!My name is Mike and I am collecting Ari T Hart items for almost two decades. I have now decided to gradually liquidate and sell my collection. Since this will certainly take longer, I have decided to forego other sales channels and prefer to build this website instead. By the way, I live in Hamburg, Germany and I really enjoy fishing for salmon and sea trout with a two-handed rod. NOTICE: This website does not represent a professional web shop, but rather serves to establish contact between private interested parties and me as a private seller. Since I am not a reseller, I will close the website if I have sold my collection in the coming months or years. Hopefully the FAQ section will give you answers to the typical questions in advance. Anyway, I am pleased if you are interested in one or the other Ari T Hart or other item and contact me. Since I have a normal job or am on a fishing trip, please be patient if I can't always answer immediately. Thanks. But no worries. I'm not Stuntman Mike.

What makes it safe to buy?1. In order to sell a collection like this successfully, I live from reliability and honesty. Because in such a small target group as that of the Ari T Hart collectors, negative experiences get around quickly. 2. I have prepared the description and the photos very meticulously and checked them as best I can so that they represent a reliable basis for decision-making for every interested party to the best of my ability. Before the final transaction, I douple check the function and description again and make sure that I haven't made any mistakes (e.g. RH / LH mixed up). In advance of a purchase, I will answer all your additional questions and/or provide additional pictures as best as possible. 3. Payment is made exclusively via PayPal - PayPal offers two options for this: Option 1 (recommended): Sending money for “goods and services” / “paying for an item or service” – used for typical online purchases and comes with a key benefit: PayPal's Buyer Protection or "Protection Policy". In short, this protects PayPal users from online scams. As a seller, I will send you an invoice for the transaction via PayPal. When receiving money, I have to pay Paypal fees as a seller, which I take into account in the invoice amount to you. Option 2: Sending to a friend and family - used when sending money or a gift card to a friend or family member. Before you complete a payment, you can opt to pay the smaller fee instead of the recipient. In this case there is no PayPal buyer protection. If you want to save some money, then we can process the transaction using this option as well. 4. Shipping will be always by DHL with a tracking number and full insurance. In case DHL will pay compensation for packages damaged or lost in transit. 5. Shipping is from Hamburg, Germany. The next post office is not far from me. And the risk of being robbed before shipment is low. 😉

What's the logic of the Condition Rating?In addition to the best possible item description and associated photos, all items have been assessed with regard to their condition according to the following grading levels:

Do you sell to everybody?!Why not? Generally yes. But I exclude and do no business with countries like Russia, China and so on. It is important to have some principles in life. Anyway, I would also like to take up a quote from Ari T Hart - that fits very well! “At every fair, or it's now in Denver, Salt Lake City or Amsterdam, you meet one of those types against those who come by to be interesting and really just want to talk for the sake of talking. It starts with showing interest in a particular reel. If you give them the reel from the display case, they will say after a few minutes that it is a bit too modern for them. Then someone like that comes by again an hour later and asks for the reel again. It's the color she doesn't really like. When they come back for the third time and stand with the reel in their hands, they say hesitantly that the design is actually not that bad and that they might also get used to the color. At such a moment I don't even want to sell the reel anymore and then I invariably make the comment that my reels are not for everyone. I then put the reel back in the display case and add that it will remain closed for that person for the rest of the fair.” ARI'S REELS MAY NOT FOR EVERYONE.

Pricing & payment procedure?1. Payment procedure Payment is made exclusively via PayPal and in the EURO € currency. If you receive my PayPal invoice to your EMail account the payment via PayPal is for you also possible without an own PayPal account - you just need e.g. a credit card (your details won't be forwarded to me). Please if you are not used to PayPal please inform yourself upfront via PayPal's help center or YouTube channel. Everything is there clearly explained. 2. Pricing (always in Euro €) Agreed item price + DHL shipping and full insurance fee + Paypal fee = total price (no VAT, as private sale) Don't forget!

What is the shipping & insurance policy?Shipping is by DHL only: > DHL Packet (basic price) > plus an additional insurance fee > plus possibly premium service if necessary / useful With the Premium service, your shipment is prioritized so it arrives sooner. E.g. for the US DHL mention: "without Premium service via ocean freight until further notice. These items can be subject to very lengthy transit times of up to 60 days. For faster shipment service, customers can still choose DHL Paket International with Premium service." Remark: on the package DHL label you will find only the basic price printed. In order to be able to track the shipment, you will of course receive the DHL tracking number from me. I always ship very promptly and quickly, unless we have agreed something else. DHL - What is insured by transport insurance? DHL will pay compensation for packages damaged or lost in transit. The insured amount is the documented material value of your shipment at the time of collection or posting. > For a total loss, the replacement cost. > For damage or partial loss, the actual damage incurred. Further information regarding DHL prices and insurance can be found on the DHL website. Under no circumstances do I charge more than the actual DHL shipping and insurance costs. I also always make sure that your purchased items are packed very well. ------------------------------------------------------- In the unlikely event that a shipment is lost or the contents damaged, the following procedure applies: > It is your responsibility to provide me with a correct address Total loss: - if the DHL tracking shows that the package has been delivered but you have not received it (e.g. because it was given to a neighbor), then you are solely responsible for clarifying this with DHL - if the package was never delivered (based on DHL tracking information), then I need this feedback from you and I will initiate clarification with DHL - if the package is finally lost and the DHL transport insurance takes effect, I will send you the full amount reimbursed by DHL via PayPal Damage or partial loss: - If your shipment is visibly damaged upon delivery, the consignee should clearly state this on the drivers hand terminal by adding the text “damaged shipment” when signing for receipt. By doing this, your receiver signs for the receipt of a damaged shipment. - If the damage is not immediately visible upon delivery and your receiver only discovers it later, we ask you to notify our customer service department within 7 days of delivery. - It is important that you do not refuse to accept the package, as I will not take back items that have been sold - In any cases please follow the DHL claim procedure which you will find on their website - if the DHL transport insurance takes effect and reimburses a partial amount, DHL will pay it directly to you (Your shipment was covered by additional insurance provided by DHL. You will receive maximum compensation based on the insurance level. )

What about customs duties & taxes?Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges of me. I won't under-value, merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws and will compromise DHL shipping insurance.

What is the return policy?As a private seller, I completely exclude the possibility of taking back one or more items. The description of all items are complete and documented with proper pictures. Before the final transaction, I douple check the function and description again and make sure that I haven't made any mistakes (e.g. RH / LH mixed up). In advance of a purchase, I will answer all additional questions and/or provide additional pictures. This all gives the buyer a very good basis for the purchase and is no different from or even better than a purchase from a private individual via other sales channels. But I am convinced that I have done everything to ensure that your purchase will not disappoint you. ☺️
